How is it already Tuesday?
This morning Eric and I took Drayke to a doctor's appointment.  Nothing special, just his 8 year old physical.  He wasn't happy about wearing a "napkin shirt" though.  We found out he is in the 75% for weight and the 93% for height.  No doubt our boy is growing. Not bad for being a 3 pounder at birth!

Eric has started a tradition with the boys that if he takes them to their doctor's appointment, they get to go to Steak 'n Shake afterward.  Drayke was READY for his hotdogs.  I love that he puts on the hat and builds the cars every time.

 While Eric was paying the check Drayke asked to play the crane game. I have NEVER said yes to this, but for some reason I did today.  And wouldn't you know it, the first time he plays this game the kid WINS.

 We got Drayke back to school and then it felt like we had to turn right around and get Eric to his doctor's appointment.  His wasn't so fun.  His blood pressure is still out of control, and we are adding even more insulin to try to get a rein on his diabetes.  We need to get a sonogram of his liver and his Vitamin D is low (side effect from being a gamer !).  Vascular degeneration in all four extremities.  So he will be off work at least another six weeks while they do more testing and attempt to control things with the medication changes.

Emmy picked the boys up from school for us and when we walked in the door it was easy to tell they were home. 

While I waited for Quinn to get off the bus I noticed how much our bushes have bloomed this year.  They really are looking like lilacs.  I couldn't lean over and smell them though because they were full of bees! 

It was Emmy's night to cook and she made Chicken Fajitas in the crock pot.  Pretty good!  I gave the kids each their "Star Wars Eve" present: Star Wars necklaces to wear on May the 4th tomorrow!

And that was our crazy day!
